Erlantz Auzmendi Jiménez is a forestry expert and contractor of bio-building projects. He brings to Plant-for-the-Planet Spain extensive experience in planting, direct seeding and forest plant cutting, restoration of degraded, eroded or desert soils and fire prevention, amongst others.

On 22 September 2012, the United Arab Emirates hosted its very first Plant-for-the-Planet Academy. It was a great success, attracting media attention, and more Academies are already being planned. Twelve-year-old Kehkashan and her peers can be proud of a fantastic achievement.
