Content Creator ∙ Remote


Plant-for-the-Planet is a global organization advocating for large-scale reforestation around the world and is the pioneer of the Trillion Tree Campaign. We are currently developing a fundraising and monitoring application to aid in global reforestation. We are looking for a remote full-time content creator/writer to start as soon as possible.


  • Engage with Plant-for-the-Planet App users, reforestation organizations, partners and other stakeholders to create content and stories from different perspectives on why ecosystem restoration is important and how they are using Plant-for-the-Planet’s tools and features to support restoration efforts (to be published on e.g. Plant-for-the-Planet’s Blog)
  • Document the ongoing work of Plant-for-the-Planet’s teams across the world for internal as well as external communication. This includes writing articles on newly launched features and tools.
  • Create at least two content pieces a week (mostly blog)
  • Occasionally produce social media content to complement the blog articles, Trillion Tree Campaign, features for partners, participating projects, the empowerment of children and youth, and our work across the world.


  • A Bachelor’s Degree (completed in English language or at least four years of English medium higher education).
  • 1-2 years experience blogging, or digital environmental campaigning.
  • Strong writing, grammar, and proofreading skills.
  • Deep interest in International Relations, Political Studies, Ecology, Forestry, Climate or related field with passion for writing.
  • Ability to meet short deadlines, work in a fast-paced environment, and coordinate with various teams, departments, and divisions.


  • Experience with ecology, forestry or restoration media management.
  • Experience in multi-platform content creation
  • Knowledge of German, Spanish, French or other languages.
