Plant-for-the-Planet is a youth-led non-profit organization with a vision to plant a Trillion Trees. We are a collective of young climate justice ambassadors, environmental scientists, designers, and developers – who work together to bring solutions to solve the climate crisis.
We are inviting a highly skilled Next JS Full Stack Developer with experience in the t3 framework to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about developing scalable web applications using modern technologies and should have a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Developing high-quality and scalable web applications using Next JS and the t3 framework
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and reliability
- Mentoring junior developers and guiding them in their professional growth
- Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the team is using the latest tools and techniques
- Conducting performance optimization and troubleshooting to ensure the application runs smoothly
- Participating in project planning and estimation to ensure timely delivery of projects
- Providing technical guidance and support to other team members when required
Required Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in developing web applications using Next JS
- Proficiency in the t3 framework
- Strong proficiency in React and JavaScript
- Experience with server-side rendering, API integration, and asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Agile methodologies
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme, or React Testing Library
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
