A collaborative research project between ETH Zurich and Cambridge University is looking for a research assistant to assist with interviews in Campeche, Mexico, from January – February 2023.
The study aims to assess the well-being effects of global restoration targets and the equity implications of these. You will work in close collaboration with lead scientist Sara Löfqvist.
Your tasks will include:
- Participating in interviews with local farmers, community members, and restoration implementers
- Assist in the coding of data using the software NVivo

Required skills and experience
- Full proficiency in Spanish
- Strong skills in English
- BSc degree in ecology, anthropology, development studies, or other relevant field (higher degree beneficial)
- Experience in interviewing or interest and willingness to learn about interview-based data collection
- Driving license
Conditions & Compensation
We offer 1-2 months full-time work in January – February 2023.
You will be based in Constitución, Campeche.
