In 2012 we were able to publish a lot of our material and books in different languages. The consequence: even more children around the world have been able to participate in our Plant-for-the-Planet Academies and learn about the climate crisis and global citizenship. Furthermore, we have been able to distribute our book "Tree by Tree" to the children in 7 languages: French, English, German, Italian, Portuguese, Slovenian and Spanish. You can find our book "Tree by Tree" on our website in all available languages. Soon, we will be able to offer our book in Arabic, Chinese and Russian.
Our flyer is now available in 13 languages and can be downloaded here.
This huge translation work was done by a network of volunteer translators around the world and we would like to thank all the people for their great support. We are particularly grateful to the Rosetta Foundation, a non-profit organisation that supports the not-for-profit activities of the localization and translation communities. It works, internationally, with those who want to provide equal access to information across languages, independent of economic or market considerations, including not-for-profit and non-governmental organizations.
The Rosetta Foundation has helped us with the translation of a lot of documents into different languages, for
example the host-briefing for the Academies, our PowerPoint presentation and our book "Tree by Tree" by providing professional translators around the world and coordinating the translations.
If you would like to support us with your professional translation or you know somebody who would like to work as a volunteer translator, please contact: [email protected] or the Rosetta Foundation.Back
