About the Role
We are inviting a Technical Product Marketing Manager to sit at the intersection of data, product, and go-to-market for Plant-for-the-Planet’s ForestCloud. This role is ideal for someone who can pull insight from a SQL query or an analytics dashboard and turn it into sharp positioning and messaging, letting evidence, not guesswork, guide what to build, launch, and improve.
You will own how our products are understood in the market and how we measure whether that’s working. You will dig into product usage data, turn it into clear insight, and connect what the tools actually do to what users need, so adoption grows across restoration practitioners, researchers, funders, and local communities.
Forest Cloud includes tools like TreeMapper, FireAlert, Tracer, Donation platform, and upcoming tools like Fundraiser, all designed to make ecosystem restoration more transparent, efficient, and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Analyze product usage and adoption data to understand how people actually use ForestCloud tools, and where they drop off.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track adoption, engagement, and growth, and share clear findings with product and leadership.
- Turn data into sharp positioning, messaging, and go-to-market decisions for ForestCloud tools.
- Plan and run product launches, from feature releases to new-tool rollouts, including launches on platforms like Product Hunt and app stores, and measure their impact.
- Complement campaigns across search, social, and content, and use data to see what drives adoption.
- Create content that drives adoption: landing pages, demos, case studies, and guides, grounded in real user insight.
- Help shape the brand voice across channels, keeping it consistent and evidence-led.
- Understand the market, users, and competing tools, and back your recommendations with evidence.
- Work with product and engineering to define what to measure, instrument it correctly, and act on what the numbers show.
- Collaborate closely with product, engineering, design, and conservation experts to keep messaging accurate and technically sound.
- Track how launches, messaging, and features perform over time, and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree + experience in product marketing, product analytics, growth, or a data-focused product role.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and with product analytics tools like PostHog (or equivalent, e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA4).
- Comfort working with spreadsheets and data at depth: pulling, cleaning, and interpreting it to answer real product questions.
- Ability to translate technical products and data into clear, persuasive stories for different audiences.
- Comfort working with product and engineering teams in an agile, cross-functional setup.
- Passion for sustainability, conservation, or climate action.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
Benefits
- Competitive Salary
- Flexible working hours
- An international team with a supportive working environment
