Your assignment to Plant-for-the-Planet creates impact locally:

With your support, we empower children and youth through various formats that build knowledge and enable them to take action. In this way, young people actively engage in their communities and fight for climate justice.
We empower children and youth (ages 9–14) through one-day Plant-for-the-Planet Academies. Peers teach the causes and consequences of the climate crisis and inspire participants to take action for climate justice.
Through school workshops, we reach more children and bring our most engaged Ambassadors together at the annual Children’s conference.
At the annual Youth Summit, we connect young climate activists from around the world, work together to develop action plans, and help them build their sense of agency.

Your assignment to Plant-for-the-Planet makes a difference globally:

Plant-for-the-Planet contributes to restoring and protecting forests around the world. With our own projects in Ghana, Mexico, Spanish, and the more than 300 restoration projects on our platform, we work continuously to restore forest ecosystems.

This is beneficial both environmentally and socially:

Forest restoration captures large amounts of CO₂ and methane and actively contributes to climate protection.
Healthy forest ecosystems support biodiversity, improve water supply, and help cool the local climate.
Our projects strengthen local communities by creating secure jobs, particularly for women, and help combat poverty and migration from rural areas.
