The Ambassador Awards Project
The Ambassador Awards are an initiative of the Council that celebrates inspiring youth from around the world who are leading the way in climate action, restoring ecosystems, educating their communities, and demanding justice. Through this project, we spotlight their stories, amplify their impact, and connect a global movement of young changemakers committed to a better tomorrow.
Julius Sila
Julius leads Kenya’s ambitious youth-powered restoration project called Saving-Planet. He’s on a mission to plant botanic gardens filled with native trees in every school across Kenya. It’s bold, smart, and rooted in climate justice, mixing tech, education, and community to grow forests and future changemakers.
Johann Eickenbrock, Advisor and Project Lead
“As a member of the Council, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible dedication of our Climate Justice Ambassadors. The Ambassador Awards project was conceived to recognize and celebrate these outstanding individuals who go above and beyond in their efforts to combat the climate crisis and promote environmental justice.“
