Strong Policies for the Future of Forests

Protecting existing forests and restoring degraded landscapes are essential to effective climate action. Forests store carbon, safeguard biodiversity, regulate water cycles, and sustain communities. Their future depends also on policy choices: how regulations are designed and enforced, how public funding is allocated, and whether governments are held accountable.
