Become a Plant-for-the-Planet Partner School
Strengthen climate justice at your school with workshops, Academies and mentorship programme
PartNER SCHOOL
Embedding climate justice and empowerment in everyday school life
The climate crisis is the greatest global challenge of our time. For young people, it is not an abstract statistic, but a defining question about their future. Schools are key spaces to explore these challenges, understand global connections, and take constructive action.
Why become a partner school?
Although children and youth are not today’s decision-makers, they are the one of the most affected by the long-term consequences of the climate crisis. Ensuring their right to participation and active engagement is a matter of intergenerational justice.
Our partnership means:
The programme: Three years of impact
The partnership is designed for an initial period of three years to establish lasting structures for climate action at your school.
The programme includes:

Plant-for-the-Planet School Workshops
Once per school year, we run workshops for grades 5 to 7 — optionally supported by local coordinators.
Plant-for-the-Planet Academy
Once during the partnership, students take part in a full-day, cross-school event where they are trained as Climate Justice Ambassadors.
Plant-for-the-Planet Mentorship
We provide ongoing support through mentorship groups and help integrate students into climate or Fairtrade clubs, as well as further programmes and annual Children’s conferences. Our Vision: Empowerment instead of helplessness
As a partner school, you offer your students more than theoretical knowledge. You give them the tools to face the climate crisis with confidence and competence. We support you in equipping young people with the skills and knowledge they need to take action and shape their future. Our partnership
A partnership means trust-based collaboration on equal terms. Both sides contribute their strengths:
