A Climate Justice Ambassador is a child or young person who has been empowered by Plant-for-the-Planet to take action for climate justice.
After gaining knowledge about the climate crisis in our School Workshops or Academies, ambassadors turn this into action. They raise awareness, give presentations, organize projects, support the restoration and conservation of forests, and advocate for change in their communities and beyond. Climate Justice Ambassadors are part of a global movement of young people from both the Global South and the Global North. Together, they contribute to climate action that connects local impact with global change.
They show that young people are not only affected by the climate crisis, but actively shape solutions and drive change for a climate-just future.
