Plant-for-the-Planet supports global forest restoration both through its own projects and by enabling restoration efforts worldwide. We focus on regions where restoration can have the greatest impact for climate and biodiversity. This includes our own projects in countries such as Mexico, Ghana, and Spain. A strong emphasis lies on tropical regions, where forests grow faster, store carbon more quickly, and support high levels of biodiversity.
At the same time, we work with a global network of more than 300 restoration projects on our restoration platform. This connects projects with supporters and enables forest restoration at a much larger scale. All projects follow clear restoration standards to ensure quality, transparency, and long-term impact. We also share knowledge, data, and lessons learned across this network. By continuously improving restoration approaches together, we help make global forest restoration more effective and scalable.
