Rules for the Jungle Heroes Creative Contest
1. Who can participate?
Participation is open for people of all age groups.
2. How does the contest work?
From October through December 2026, Die Gute Schokolade Whole Milk - Jungle Heroes Edition will be available in stores (availability may vary by location). The packaging features characters and figures from the mobile game “Jungle Heroes” (stickers), which Plant-for-the-Planet released in spring 2026 in collaboration with Studio Birthplace to raise awareness about the urgent need to protect rainforests.
To participate, create a piece of artwork inspired by the game “Jungle Heroes” that addresses rainforest and species conservation. You may use the “Jungle Heroes stickers” from the packaging to create your artwork, but this is not a requirement for participation. A photo of the finished artwork must be uploaded via the designated entry form on this website.
Participants under the age of 16 must have the consent of their legal guardians to participate.
Participants may submit only one entry per person for the contest.
3. Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to participate, the artwork and a valid email address must be submitted via the entry form. Submissions that do not include a complete and valid email address cannot be considered.
To assist the jury in evaluating the artwork, please indicate the artist’s age.
The participant must have created the submitted artwork themselves and must hold the necessary rights to it.
To determine the winners, participants must also grant permission for the artwork to be published on social media (see Section 10 of the Terms and Conditions for further details).
4. Submission Deadline
Entries will be accepted through and including December 31, 2026.
5. Selection of the Winner
The finalists will be selected by a jury. The jury consists of Plant-for-the-Planet’s Climate Justice Ambassadors.
The jury’s decision is final.
The winner(s) will be selected by a public vote on our social media platform(s).
Winner(s) will also be selected per broader age categories of the participants; these categories will be determined by the jury.
6. Prize
The winner will receive a year’s supply of Die Gute Schokolade (4 packages, each containing 14 chocolate bars). The winner may choose any variety.
A cash payment or exchange of the prize is not permitted.
7. Organizer
The creative contest is jointly organized by Plant-for-the-Planet Service GmbH and the Plant-for-the-Planet Foundation.
9. Data Protection
The personal data collected as part of the contest will be processed exclusively for the purpose of conducting the contest, in particular to contact the winner. Further information on the processing of personal data can be found in the Privacy Policy.
10. Copyright, Usage, and Image Rights
The participant certifies that they created the submitted work (photo) themselves, that it is their own original creation, and that the work does not infringe upon the rights of third parties (in particular, copyrights, trademark rights, or the personal rights of any individuals depicted).
By submitting their entry, participants (or, in the case of minors, their legal guardians) grant the organizers the irrevocable and transferable right—unrestricted in terms of time, location, and content—to use the submitted images free of charge for the purposes of reporting on, promoting, and documenting the competition. This includes, in particular, the right to publish, reproduce, and make the works publicly available on the organizers’ websites, in newsletters, in print media, and on social media channels (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok). Participants waive any claim to compensation for such uses as well as the right to have their age and first name listed, unless otherwise agreed.
11. Legal Remedies
Legal recourse is excluded.
