The Change Chocolate (all varieties) does not contain any gluten-containing ingredients. However, the product cannot be labelled as gluten-free. The list of ingredients shows that no gluten is used in the product itself, but gluten-containing ingredients are used in the production of other chocolate products at the facility.
Through cleaning measures, gluten traces in production are reduced to the extent that Plant-for-the-Planet products do not need to carry a label such as “may contain traces of gluten” on the packaging. However, we still cannot confirm the “gluten-free” claim, as there are specific legal requirements for this that we have not verified (less than 20 ppm).
Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we are below this legally prescribed threshold to declare the product as “gluten-free.”
